MODERN LUGER SAGA CONTINUES!
I contacted AIMCO and advised that the nice 6' stainless steel luger with black matte IMPREGLON finish did not have the strawed small parts agreed upon when I placed my order. Mr. Romo, the company president agreed that the company had erred, and asked that the luger be sent back to the factory for installation of strawed small parts, any needed trigger adjustments needed for the replaced parts, and repeat final testing.
I considered this very responsive...they are paying for the shipping! I plan on taking a picture and figuring out how to post it when I get the gun back. By the way, there is a collection of genuine WW2 pictures on EBay, some of which show Germans firing lugers! |

Gruss Gott,Jim!
Thanks for the post regarding Aimco.I wasn't even aware that they offered the options you mentioned(matte black finish and strawed parts). How much extra do these added features cost?I'm just curious.Thanks. Tschuss! Mark M. |

I printed some rather good copies of the Luger shots, try it, they come out great.

Here is the URL again for the Pictures Patrick.
I was able to download them and view them with graphic software up close. Not bad for scans...
