friends 1917 1920 police
This is an interesting police. note: It is a friends piece who lives in Pennsylvania and not mine :D .
It started off as a DWM 1917, then was reissued to the police during the Weimar era. It has a sear safety (installed circa 1933), it does not have a magazine safety, nor did it ever have one. It has a crown N on the right side?? See to the left of the proofs and acceptance, there is a crown N on the rail, above and below? The serial number is 9690 with a suffix of M. It has been around the block with police markings, see the pictures!! Hey, no comments on the x'd out markings! The S.P.L. is close to the 1917 I have, S.P.D. if I remember correctly...
