Black Widow Luger
I did post this in the restoration section but this is a Military P08 and I just dont do too many Black Widow Lugers. This was one of the YEMEN Lugers that Robert Berg purchased over there, then they were imported by SIMPSONS LTD.

Wow Thor, beautiful job on that Black Widow.
can u give me estimate of how much it would cost to refinish my 1916 Erfurt Luger. No rust or pits and bore looks mint Locals here say for $350.00 they can make it look like new. Please let me know. Also, how does one ship a luger to you with some degree of safety. Dont want my Luger lost in the mails. rskovacs3376@yahoo.com |
Bob, sent you an email regarding your questions and pricing to your yahoo address. Thanks for the compliments. The Black Widow was Salt blued, your Erfurt would be Rust blued like this one!

Bob, if your "locals" don't blue LUGERS for a living... then I wouldn't trust them to do a proper job unless you have seen their actual work on LUGERS.
In five years, I have never heard a harsh word about Thor's work... He knows how to keep the "lines" sharp and straight, and the historical stamps from disappearing by the hand of an overeager buffer... Visit his website and see his before and after photos...Sometimes I wonder if he is really a magician! but it is really a gift to do the kind of work he does... |
