Small Arms Review - Full Automatic Luger!
 

In this issue of "Small Arms Review". There is an article on a Luger Fully Automatic pistol. Did not get to read the article. But the gun does exist and the article shows pictures.

Is this the current newstand issue? What is the date? volume number?

I finally found a copy of Small Arms Review at the gun show in Mesquite Texas today. There were quite a few copies there. The main Luger in the story is an artillery model, 1915, serial number 6474. He also writes about the Navarro brothers full auto conversion. I was suprised that it fired in full auto, not by pulling the trigger, but by squeezing the grip safety. I'm trying to picture controlling that. He also writes about the full auto Brochardt, as well as two mystery versions of a full auto Luger. Well worth a look if you are interested in full auto Lugers...

John Walter has a page dedicated to the auto Luger in his "The Luger Book" it's page 63 and part of page 64 which shows how the firing pin and toggle work.
