Meaning of E E C S A ?
 

The above letters are stamped on the right side of my c. 1941 Luger. The last two letters could refer to Sturm Abteilung, right? Any ideas on what the letters mean or could mean?

I believ that these letters represent the US importer.

I have seen these letters before and I agree with George that they represent the name of the organization that imported the gun into the USA, but unfortunately I have lost my reference note on what they stand for...

Edited and mostly deleted because I had a second cup of coffee and thought a bit better.
