Officer's Model - must have
Well, for anyone who wants to add a real rarity to their collection at a bargain price try: http://www.gunsamerica.com/guns/976261093.htm
Could someone tell me what the special characteristics of an 'officers' model are so I can keep my eye out for one ? |
Stu, there are no characteristics of an officer model. Someone has told this fellow he has a gold mine, but unfortunately, his mine is either salted or it is filled with fools gold.
If you want to keep your eyes open for one of these, hope someone pokes you in them before you find it. It will save you a lot of money!! Good Hunting <img src="graemlins/beerchug.gif" border="0" alt="[cheers]" /> |
What makes it so special? I thought ALL wartime Lugers came from "captured German officers"?
|
'Officers' model lugers have many of the same characteristics as do the 'silver Official Government Dagger'.

Come on everyone, I know you don't want to spread the word to avoid driving up prices, but it's common knowledge that ALL officer's models were signed inside the grips personally by Hitler, (but using a secret ink only the CIA can detect). I believe that the general staff also received a lock of Eva Braun's hair with the personalised pistol
