Strawed sear bar

I've recently noticed that my 1923 Simson has a strawed sear bar. Is this correct for this piece?
(I've attempted to upload the photo, but no guarantees.)

Greg it appears the sear SPRING is strawed but should be fire blued. Nice Luger!!!

Spring not bar...my error. Too much malt scotch whisky. Thanks Ted!

Greg,
I am going to step out on a limb. I believe I have seen some Simson lugers with the strawed sear bar spring. I tried to quickly research this but have not been able to find it yet! If I am incorrect maybe somebody will saw the limb off. But I am sure I have seen the strawed sear bar spring before. Boy, does that bother me not being able to find the reference!

Greg,

Probably it is a replacement which was done during the period. For example a 1900 British Test Luger serial #26 in the Pattern Room, UK also has the same strawed part which is a replacement. This is nothing serious on your Luger.

Just looked at a nice colored picture of a Borchardt and it has a fire blued sear spring next to the sear (I suppose those are the part names) A nice combination

Thor,
The Borchardt and the early prototype Lugers did have a strawed sear bar with the fire blue spring. Looks nice.
