tracing owner of luger
I inherited a luger from my father years ago which he got in the war,so can I trace this gun back with the ser.# to the orignal owner who first had it.
|
No.
But if you post some good, clear pictures and give a detailed description of all marks and numbers the guys here can tell you a lot of stuff about your pistol. |
thanks for the reply.sence i can`t trace the gun it looks exacly the same as the luger model 1908 pistol with the ser# 8004 on all parts
thanks again Dink |
dink, there is a lot more to it than just the serial number...
Go to the home page and take the link for technical information. There are identification sheets that will help you classify your Luger. Report the answers to the questions on those sheets and we will be able to tell you who made it, when it was made, and whether or not it is a rare one that might be very valuable... Photos make this process much easier... |
sorry but I dodn`t have a picture but were is the home page that you are talking about??????? thanks
