I'm afraid that they look like reproduction grips to me. I can't see the threaded hole that is typical of real ones.

Marzio, I afraid John is absolutely correct!! Sorry, they are post war reproductions!!

Hold on a minute guys! I'm not for sure, but, some of the recent imports from the former USSR & East Germany sported these crude, coarsely checkered grips... they may actually be bakelite material, I haven't seen any up close... but maybe they are a for real variation??? That is a very poor center pattern and even worse edges and chopped up border !

Hi GT, you are right, they are a real variation!! They just aren't original!! These folks, whoever they are, have even started incorporating screw holes on the reverse side. The problem is they aren't the correct size screw thread.

Keep vigilant out there guys, they are getting pretty good at these high dollad fakes!!

Just thought I would jump on the bandwagon... I believe that these poorly checkered plastic or bakelite grips represent post-war replacements...probably from the eastern block somewhere...

I have seen many of them and they look like they were injection molded in molds that were made by convicts with files...

While they may be serviceable for shooting, I think they look terrible, especially when compared to original grips. Even the VOPO grips with the target on the side look like great quality next to these...
