Should I? Or shouldn't I?
 

The nicest gun dealer around my part of the world finally has a Luger for sale, a S/42, but, they say it is mismatched and the finish is kinda bad.

Any thoughts on this luger, price is 500. They also have a French SVW45 P-38 that has the original import box and it is in 98+ condition. I am going to look at these two pistols in person soon.

The old warhorse is looking for someone to rescue it. Lugers like this may be lower in "collector" value but are high on my list of "historic" value. See if he'll take $450 and shoot it often.
