Mitchell's Lugers
This company never ceases to amaze me. I wonder if they will get any takers for a $15,000 re-blued Artillery Luger, in a red velvet case, with a repo Blue Max medallion thrown in. And isn’t that a WW2 era aluminum bottomed magazine they got on the arty? And I could have sworn the Blue Max medal was reserved for the air corps, not the artillery branch. Go fig.
Presentation Lugers |
If you check out his photo gallery you will find a presentation box that is engraved with the words Manufactured during World War II and the bottom left hand corner says:
Erfurt 1938 ... :D you learn somethin' every day... and here I thought that the Erfurt Arsenal stopped making Lugers after WW1 !!! <img border="0" alt="[hiha]" title="" src="graemlins/roflmao.gif" /> This outfit has quite a sense of humor! Just look at the prices for reworked and buffed pistols! |

The thing is, I don’t know whether to be outraged, or impressed as hell with their marketing. |
Seems to me I heard something about one being born every minute!
