Oberst Gerlochs Luger
This is my latest find...1936 s/42...two matched mags,36 dated holster, binoculars and compass as well as capture history and original registration papers from the soldier who captured Gerloch 19/8/44... I looked up Gerlochs military career on the internet..interesting.....the first time I have owned a Luger knowing exactly who it came from.....Peter..

Great find! Knowing the original owner and history behind the set is always an iceing on the cake. Please post some images of the pistol.
Well done, Albert |
Very nice, I too want to see the pictures of the Luger, but interesting, that is for sure.
If you add a carriage return (enter) after your writing and before a picture and each picture, it will put the pictures one after another going downwards, instead of across. Ed |
Thanks Ed.... for the info...will do that next time I post photos.... Albert,I have to wait for the paperwork to be completed(not a quick and easy process here in Canada) to take photos of the gun...at that time I will post photos of it.....Thanks....Peter....

Very interesting item. It is very rare to trace a pistol and, in my understanding, this increase a lot the pistol value.
