1936 Persian Luger
This is one sweet Luger. It’s the coolest looking self-loading pistol I’ve ever seen. I’ve never been a big fan of pistols, but I’d love to have this 1936 Oberndorf in my collection. It was a gift from the Shah of Iran to an American General.

Sack of brevity. |
Very nice looking guns, and if you can't toss in a slightly OT item, what fun is life?

The excellent Persian Luger shown at the start of this thread was originally brought to our attention by George Bough who then sold it to Bob Adams.
You don't get to see many Lugers New In the BOX! |
I agree with our British friend. That scratched up Persian Luger looks like a good project for Thor! <img src="graemlins/beerchug.gif" border="0" alt="[cheers]" />

I still take it all scratched up like that... a little piece of electrical tape cut to size would hide those scratches while I was SHOOTING it!
