1913 ERFURT
I was negociating the buy of a 70% 1913 dated ERFURT...then, yesterday afternoon at 14:00 my pager rang: a seller for ANOTHER 1913 dated ERFURT. He was not so far away so I went to his place and:
WOW! A NICE ALL MATCHING 95%+ 1913 ERFURT with stock lug Serial No. 78XX Deal was closed...Paperwork in process of registration....I'll post PICS as soon as I get it. I was impressed by the condition in spite of small scattered pitts on the barrel & sideplate. I couldnt let a piece like this pass....I was told that Pre War ERFURT are scarce, especially in that condition. So I'm starting an IMPERIAL LUGER category in my collection with : A 1912 ERFURT ( bought 2 weeks ago ) and that 1913 ERFURT! kidvett |

This evening, when the sun goes down, look to the South. That faint green glow in the sky is ME in GA.... green with envy!
Really, that's two great finds and I hope your Imperial collection grows. They are beautifully made pistols with lots of interesting proofs and, if you're lucky, unit markings. They add to the historical interest. |
