Original brown leather Luger holster is in geat condition, with no pir, cuts or breaks. Still retains its original inner loading-tool pouch and pull strap. Hello, Wes:

Not certain what you wanted this one for. Certainly not for a collectable. Mag is not Imperial as it has an alum bottom and blued tube. Neither is the holster; it is post WW1 with belt loops that have gone missing. Certainly, they can be replaced but seems to me that the price paid was no bargain for a pistol in this condition. IMHO, best you missed it.

Wes, I have to agree with Garfield here. You would have over paid at $850 for a 70% pistol with a replacement mag and a butchered holster. I saw this one when it was first offered and quickly decided to ignore it. There are better 1916 DWM's out there for equal or less money. Just my $.02

The holster, was a non-consideration. The mag did bother me quite a bit, and that is the main reason that I was postponing until tomorrow.

Don't know how my kid turned out; traded him and my wife to some traveling gypsies many years ago for a 2nd variation 45 cal Lugar carbine. But thank you for the well wishes; I, too, hope he has good teeth.

The holster appears to be one of the Danish holsters that had the GI type belt hooks added after WWII and then removed after import into the US. Great holsters, but not a lot of value currently. I noticed the seller stated the "oriignal" holster I wonder what the stamps were on this one? I still wish I could find a good material to repair the holes in these holsters. The leather repair material worked OK, buy was not perfect.
