rough times!
Hi to all, well. it's been quite a while since I last heard that PPU was going to import more .30 Luger, (7.65 X 21 to them!) But evidently that is a bridge long ago crossed! And, to rub salt into an already open wound, Meg-Gar has totally told the Luger frat to go pound sand! I am for once in envy of our reloader members! You guys have it figured out! :thumbup best to all, til.....lat'r....GT
BTW, there are qty. 2 Nickel Mec-Gar mags on ebay, last I looked they were at $300.00 or maybe even more?.. AAARRRRGGGG!:surr: |
So Mec-gar has stopped making repro Luger mags AND PPU won’t be giving us .30 Luger? Is Fiocchi still making .30 at least? As for mags, I guess it will be Triple K from here on out?

sad thing is!
They both got it right! They are the two aftermarket items fo .30 Luger that worlk!!!! ... Not KKK mags for me... I'll go without for a while then get busy designing a LUGER MAG!!! Best to all, til.....lat'r....GT:thumbup:

I just looked and am comfortable with the number of good functioning Luger mags. I could always use more, but am not in a "mag bind".
As a handloader, I don't have to depend on any factory to produce quality 30 Luger ammo. Many years ago I stocked up on Fiocchi 30 Luger ammo as it works fine in all of my 30 Luger handguns. Thanks to GT, I am "fat" on brass and projectiles for the 30 Luger guns also. A number of different powders will work fine in this caliber. Now if I could just get to the range to do some shooting. |
Luger Mags
Any info on why MEC-GAR is discontinuing Luger mags? Youd think demand would be strong
G.T....you are thoughtful, as ever Grant |
I see several EU dealers still have them listed.
Could it be Mec Gar Italy still makes them, but Mec Gar USA stopped? |
