1937 S/42 Luger picture
 

Hello,
waited a long time to get that Luger shipped - today it came!

The magazine is matching to the serial number.
I think Mauser turned in the year 1937..with that model the rust bluing into salt bluing? Ser.Nr. is 54xx v

and you are correct that 1937 was the transition year from rust blue and strawed parts to full hot salt blue... you will find 1937 Lugers both ways...
