Markings on a Luger Holster
I recently acquired a 1936 Luger in a Luger holster. The holster was made by Grudenklinge Brothers of Dresden in 1937 and is marked with Wa 142. On the inside flap stamped in ink is the following: 5./A.R. 67. It is enclosed in a rectangle. It looks like a unit marking, but I don't have information on World War II Nazi unit markings. Can anyone point to to source to identify this marking?

Not sure if this helps or confuses the issue any, but I have an Erfurt 1918/1920 unit marked V./.A.R.3.21. I have been told mine is from a Weimar-era horse artillery unit.

J.L., The marking is a Reichswehr unit. 5Th Batterie of the 67th Artillery Regiment.I would think, kind of rare on such a late holster. If genuine.
