Back frame marked byf 42
Finally got around to taking a pic of this one. It is your basic byf42, but what is the purpose of the "3" on the back? I looked in some of my reference books, but could not find anything.

Doug, Generally numbers stamped in this location are "Rack" numbers. This allowed the company ordnance personel to account for their inventory, without requiring them to remove from a storage rack, to check the serial numbers.
