A Tough Question?

Over the last three years have the prices of Lugers generally gone up or down??

Heinz 03-07-2021 08:43 AM

I only follow the Imperial Lugers I think they are up 15 to 20 percent over that period

HerrKaiser 03-07-2021 09:50 AM

Was there a major spike in the prices of Imperial guns during the WW1 centennial years? All guns seemed to have gone up in price over the last year.

IMO prices are up and continue to rise. :(

If I was through buying that would be great news ... but I'm not.

Not only Luger prices have climbed but most firearms especially milsurp’s. Like Herrkaiser points out with the centennial of WW1 prices of weapons from that era climbed for sure! 15 to 20 percent as Heinz said is about right maybe a bit low as I have been following prices pretty close also especially this last year. Unfortunately I am not done adding to my collection yet either so it really is important to do your homework.

I think prices are on the rise. These two Lugers sold at a local auction yesterday. Add 18% to the sale prices for buyer premium and tax. Auctions may not be the best indicator but it shows what some are willing to pay.

Luger are still a good investment! A new generation of buyer interest! A safe investment! A finite supply! Is there any class that rose the most?
