G date Luger- Do the serial numbers look "funky"?

I am considering buying a "G" (1935) Luger but the fonts on the serial numbers look odd to me.

Will you experts please comment on the pistol?

I think the side plate and the gun did not leave Mauser at the same time.

Shallow markings suggest a reblue.

The mag tube is of a post war 1970s Mauser Parabellum.

The magazine base is likely renumbered.

What's the number on the inside of the trigger side plate?

I don't have access to the actual pistol only the photos I've shown. I am trying to get an evaluation before I consider buying the gun.

Here is another G-date example.

The G itself is very shallow and the side plate does look a bit 'off' on these. Note the slight jump in the side plate serial number placement.

All things considered, I think the side plate on the OP's luger is force matched to this gun.

I respectfully dissent from the views expressed above, the OP's G date looks authentic to me. The photo below is of G Date #9324a, the 4's look identical to those on the side plate in question.

On the OP pistol, only the side plate has a 4 with a cross bar on the bottom; the rest do not have a
bar.
The OP could look inside the side plate for the first two digits of the serial number( they will either be
"35" or one digit higher".

Another "G" date for comparison. About the same condition as the OP's pistol. And I would note that the "4" with the crossbar is plainly evident on the serial number at the front of the frame, and it seems to be present on the bottom of the barrel as well.
