How many magazines?

Very simple question for which I can't find answer... : How many magazines were supplied with 1906 commercial Lugers? The same as with military = 2 ?

With commercials nothing was supplied or issued. It was purchased so any amount could/would be possible. Two seems likely in most cases, one in the pistol and another in the extra mag pouch. Double magazine pouches were available as well..so was a triple and room for 4. Ambercrombie & Fitch are noteable for multiple commercial mag pouches. Early commercial catalogs German/English/other are interesting sources for what was available.

I think I've read that when you bought a commercial, you got one magazine with it. But I do not know for sure?

I think anything else was additional accessories.

I will look, was trying to show any luger ads - as you could get additional accessories.
