Mauser Pistol

As we all know, Mauser stopped making the "byf" Luger in late 1942 to concentrate on the manufacture of the P,38. This did not stop them from some of their research. I have attached a photo of a Mauser pistol that was made in 1943. This came from Europe and has been seldom seen outside Germany. What do you think of it? I hope I did the photo correct???

Marvin, there must be some magic to posting pics along with the message. I have requested, from dok, a real 'Dick and Jane' explanation of how to include a picture.

Walther made a prototype Luger, it now belongs to the British collector Sturgess. It copied the Luger but every single detail went very wrong and it´s a bit of a joke. Mauser specialized in pressed steel and had replaced many of the previosly machined K 98k rifle parts by the end of WWII. They were ordered to come up with a prototype pressed steel revolver.Only one was made. Patrick

Marvin, the reason the graphic wont come up is that the file name is

incorrectly formatted.

The properties tied to your first post said the graphic file name was:

http://boards.rennlist.com/upload/Mauser_Sheet_metal_jpg.htm

The file name should be XXXXX.jpg where the XXXXX is the file name and the ending in .jpg

Rename the file something shorter and repost and it should be fine...
