New to me 1900 AE

Just picked this one up. Grips are period, but mismatched. Bore is a little frosty. Shoots well though. What a slick piece of work. Always thought the 1900's were "elegant".

I agree, 1900s are probably among the most elegant Lugers.

You have a very nice example and I totally agree with you, Luger got it right the first time! The whole configuration just shouts elegance.
I have seven of them. The pride of my collection is one of the earliest pieces, a 1900 Swiss military, serial number 109. in near mint original condition still retaining the unrelieved frame and flat button magazine. I have been collecting since 1957, so I didn't put that group together very quickly or even recently. I hope your interest never wains and you will be able to add as many more pieces as you desire.
