Hello John,
1. Boy,, what great guns and especially nice displays you tease us all with. If you do not mind, can you tell me how you make your labels ? 2. Also, are there any good gun shops that you can recommend in the Seattle area for a fellow to hunt lugers ? I will be in downtown Seattle for work for the next few weeks... Regards, Pete... |
Very nice, John said he makes them in MS Word.
You can make nice displays like this with Word, although Publisher is even easier, however, with Powerpoint, you can also move photos around and word sections, probably just about as easy or easier. |
If you are going to be in the Seattle area next weekend, be sure and come to the Washington Arms Collectors show at the fairgroungs in Puyallup. We have shows monthly of approx. 1,000 tables...
There are several places in Seattle you might want to check. Wades Eastside Gunshop in Bellevue, Ben's Loan in Renton and there are lots of pawn shops in town. With Boeing laying off so many people, some nice guns should be showing up. This WAC show should be a real good one... The display above is bait. Gun collecting is just like fishing, I just sit and wait for that BIG one to swim by, heh, heh... I use Microsoft Word to make placards for my displays. My youngest daughters husband was one of the first ten employees of Microsoft, he retired at 30...... He was one of the developers of Word.... |
John, your displays and guns are GREAT!!!!!
