Anything with Mauser on it. And 1911s. Particulary fond of HSc's also.

Vlim, they cut-away Broomhandle is really something! What’s the story on it?

Vlim 12-30-2019 11:52 AM

Funny story:

A local gunsmith decided he wanted to build a C96 from scratch. He built it around a 9x19 Uzi barrel but got in trouble using photocopied drawings that got distorted during the copying process. The pistol ended up being about 1.2 - 1.3 times the size of a regular C96 and he never succeeded in making it function semi-automatically. So he decided to turn it into a cutaway eventually.

S&W Revolvers

I've had a liking for S&W N frame revolvers since I was young. Started buying when I was 16. Never stopped. Have some j and k frame stuff as well. 38 & 357 on the left, then 41's then 44 special and 44mag, then 45 acp and 45 Colt. The two at a diagonal are 44's. Ran out of room on that row.

I like whatever pops my fancy, however, I can't afford just anything, so much more selective than I used to be - I do like a S&W or two - a 25-2 I've had for years and a heavy barrel model 10

Then, i like 1911a1's, but just have a couple now. I'd collect them if I hadn't gotten into lugers.
Always have shooter lugers for 1911's :D
The remington rand is a CMP, the nickle P1 was a close friends and came from the factory like that.

I like too much. He's a minor sideline of English handguns.

I like guns in general, but I've always had a preference for the 1911 in particular.

I’ve really only gotten started with Lugers, and I am young enough that I haven’t gotten a good chance to really expand my handgun collection from there. But I do have single samples of other handguns I enjoy.

A Steyr-Hahn

A Ruger SRC 1911 in 9mm (the one I entrust to help preserve my well-being every day)

A S&W model 586

Very beautiful pieces, congrats.
In my firearms collection I also had two SIG P210; the commercial one s/n P68434 is pictured herebelow, I sold them a couple of years ago, they are exceptionally beautiful pistols.

I love the look of the Colt black powder revolvers.

I think my favorite all around pistol is a Colt Officers model match 38 Special that my father gave me when I graduated from high school, however I like my lugers too as well as my Colt single action 32-20.

Way too many!
My "problem" is I like too much stuff and cannot make up my mind.

My latest endeavor, while persuing a few hard to find Artillery luger variants, is High Standard .22
pistols.

Some of these date to the 1930s and the predecessor of the High Standard company.
The three "cabinets" show the early hammerless models, the next is the external hammer models, and the last is post WWII and to 1977 "modern" HS target pistols.

Two of them are US martial pistols used for training during WWII.

They are about as "bad" as lugers in terms of varieties; I have some 26- good thing .22 lr ammo is cheap again. :)

I certainly do like my High Standard HD Military with 6" barrel. Probably my most used handgun.

Just picked up these two this weekend. An FN Hi power, waffenampt, and a BYF 42. Matching, except the un-numbered mag,(correct, perhaps?) with a DTA41 holster and WA63 tool. I just can't seem to stop.
