Tool time

It seems the more I study the more questions I have. In my search for a Simson tool I came across these and am not sure of their authenticity, any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Does not look authentic to me.
Once, when I was in a long search for a replacement grip screw for my Simson Luger, a well known Luger seller offered to fabricate an E/6 screw for me... Not amused. Compare your tool to this mark of a Simson Luger. In particular, the eagle's head is not a triangle. |
Absolutely fake. No question. Where did you see these?
|
I got them at a show the story was good the buyer was a fool.
Well at least I can help others know what not to look for, that's worth something. So I guess I am still looking for a Simson tool, in case anybody has one that's looking for a new home. Does anyone have pics of any original Simson tools, variations etc. Thanks to all |
We have pictures of simson tools in Simson Lugers and in Police Lugers
what it says in Police Lugers Quote:

So neither tool is authentic ?

Simson and Police tools are unblued, have other shapes and the acceptance marks are not correct

Klaus, you are a treasure!

Wow, thank you so much for your guidance, it doesn't get much better than this. Exactly what I needed.
