Value of import marked Luger
Guys can you help me with a general value of an import marked Luger. Both are original finish.
One has all matching parts and the other is mixed parts. Import marks are on the bottom of the barrel on both guns. Are they worth $1,000 each? I know there are a lot of variables but just assume they are run of the mill guns. Thanks |
$1000 is in the right ballpark for a “run of the mill” matching gun and a bit high for a mismatched one, opinions will vary about import marks and value. Otherwise, there is not much else to be said or advice given without more detailed descriptions and (more importantly) pictures.

On a low end shooter, or a high end rare piece- an import mark makes little difference.
In between it does. No way to answer your question without knowing a lot more about these two lugers. |
Your question is kind of like asking, "I'm considering a used car... I know that there are a lot of variables, but what's it worth?"
Value (import marked or otherwise) depends on the Luger. Photos would be helpful. Without a description or photos, think $800 or so if it's a functional gun. |
WW1 worth more than Weimar - but worth less than WW2
WW2 worth more than anything earlier All depends on how nice they look, how they shoot |
Unusual marking on a 1938 Mauser

This marking is on a mostly matching 38 Mauser. I've seen something similar before, but just can't place it. TheTh is a similar eagle proof on the barrel.
Thanks! |
