Identification help

9 Attachment(s)
Hello,

I hate a Luger that I want some help to identify. I've read done pdf;s about Lugers but I can't get a grip on the identity on mine.
What I hate heard it came to Sweden through Norway after WW2, but I'm not sure. If someone could help me I would really appreciate it.

Best regards

The only things that I can tell from the photos is that it is a 1910 DWM Luger that is unit marked to the 2nd Hussar cavalry regiment, 5th Squadron. The number at the end is the regimental weapon number.

Unless I am missing the numbers, the barrel appears to have been replaced and proof tested. Of course the front sight has been replaced or ground down.
How about some close-up photos of all markings on the barrel and the front of the frame, just beneath the barrel?
While I have no idea if it came to Sweden from Norway, it certainly does suggest an interesting history.

It appears to have Belgian- Liege- proofing, so it made at least one side trip to Belgium!

I also think the barrel has been changed. There are no serialnr in the barrel Only in the frame.

Erik, are you in Norway?

It sometimes helps to know where you found the luger? But its history is usually lost, as guns traveled all over the world after WW1 and WW2....

I'm in Sweden and got the Luger from a friend who got it from hus father who passed away 3 years ago
