Everygunpart anyone use them?

I picked up a broken gp100 last weekend that someone misplaced the hammer and grips. I was able to buy one of third-party kits, basically a revolver without the frame. Got all my missing pieces including the elusive ruger hammer. And put tje revolver back together and even functioning.
But what itbwas going to post was I looked under semi autos and they have a mauser p08 for a measly $999.

Jim, that's an interesting website that I had never seen before. I'll have to keep them in mind for future reference.
I enjoyed perusing many of the "kits" available.

I just ordered a Bulgarian Makarov parts kit from them.

If there is anything closely as exciting as buying a new to you firearm, it is buying a firearm parts kit. (I did say "almost")

I was happy to find that site. Got my .357 gp100 all fixed in one order. Jim

I must have a very skewed sense of value...~$1,000 is a lot of money to me...

Even compared to a whole functioning 'shooter' Luger, it seems to me to be a bit much... :p

Almost? I dunno, gun parts can be as exciting as the guns themselves! :jumper::D

Been hunting for a spare military slide for sometime now. I plan on putting night sights on it, and I don't want to cut the original slide for them.

Oddly, the Makarov is the best DA/SA handgun I own, and conceals very well. Very excited to get these parts!

I’ve only used them for random magazines, never a parts kit, but I understand most of their parts kits are from confiscated/surrendered guns that were destroyed by the local police department. I’ve been pretty happy with them the few times I’ve ordered.

I just "won" or bought a $50 parts kit for a Colt Woodsman prewar- it had the really tough to find high speed .22lr mainspring housing.

Coincidentally, I was looking at the Colt Woodsman 'kits' at everygunpart.com. I finally identified the half (slide + frame) of a Colt .22 auto that I've owned for several decades as a 1967 Colt Huntsman (a Woodsman, basically). The site has a half dozen Woodsman 'kits' but none are complete. :(

Checking GB for Huntsman prices, there's one I covet for ~$750 but that seems steep for a 50 year old .22...

Did someone post a question about Jack First Gun Parts some time ago??? That seller has Woodsman parts also...
