Inspector stamps

On an Erfurt LP08 what small parts should always have an inspectors acceptance stamp on them?

Norme 12-22-2018 07:08 PM

An Erfurt Artillery should have almost EVERY part, including grip screws, inspection marked. The only exceptions are springs and pins.

Are these inspectors stamps sometimes called Imperial markings?

DonVoigt 12-23-2018 09:46 AM

Yes; and sometimes called inspection, acceptance, and "proof" markings- though only the breech block, barrel, and receiver have the actual Imperial eagle proof mark.

cirelaw, you wouldn't be trying to sell some Erfurt screws would you? :) Or just being informative?
