Borchardt....
for sale in Bothell, WA...the shop is worth the visit...!!!
Saw this one in person upon my travels...interesting old gun...too bad is got separated from its case and accessories... http://www.gunsamerica.com/guns/976423537.htm Regards, Pete... |
Pete,
I can't really tell from the pictures but the holster kinda looks like it could be pretty good. But the real treasure are the three magazines. I wonder if they all match the gun? I have not seen that many Borchardts, but I have never seen a Borchardt with matching mags. I personally would love to get a 'hold open' mag. Big Norm |
Norm,
If Mike Krause in San Mateo, CA cannot help you with that Borchardt item, I am not sure who can. http://www.krausewerk.com/ Mike seems to have accessories for Borchardts and he reportedly has over 1,000 luger magazines in stock... Doc Fisher and I joke with Mike that he needs to "inventory" all of those magazines and them list them for sale on e-Bay...but with making $ 15K modern lugers (.45 and Baby's), going through boxes of magazines just does not seem to be a priority... Just a minor correction to Pete's post. Mike Krause has over a thousand loading tools, acquired as surplus from Norway after WW2. They are ample to fill a medium size trash bag! He has ONLY about half as many magazines of all types. I don't know if he has Borchardt magazines, but I doubt it.

Actually, Doc...
If you go to Mike's "luger" page, even he says he has over 1000 magazines... :D Regards, Pete... |
