A hundred years ago today...
At the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th Month of 1918.
Guns finally went silent. |
A very somber day indeed. Rest In Peace all veterans of the Great War. Now would be one heck of a day to take out anyone’s WW1 guns for a salutary range trip.

My wife and I visited several WW1 cemeteries when we biked through Northern France this summer, most of the graves are unmarked. Here are some photos:

My Father was a WW1 vet. Rest in Peace Dad. Bill

Bill, my father also. Same sentiments. Thanks

Good idea on taking an old gun to the range. I have a French contract Izarra I may take to the range tomorrow.
