ajustment tool

Does anyone know of a reproduction artillery fine tune sight adjustment tool for sale, or an original that's not too $$$$? Thanks in advance, Mike

Do you want one to use or collect?
I made a couple a while back, can maybe find one or make another.
PM me if interested.

I can't seem to find a picture right now.

Hello Mike,
Mauser in 1985 produced a limited numbers of the Artillery Sight Adjusting tools to be associated to the 250 Artillery Commemorative they made.
The tool is very well made and Mauser stamped. They are really rare and almost impossible to be found not associated to the Commemorative LP08.
Several years ago, during one of my annual visit to the Mauser facility in Oberndorf am Neckar, I have acquired the last three available.
One is for sale, I keep the others in my collection.

You can see it here with the price:

You see also my email address if you want to contact me for additional information.

Greetings,
Mauro

Thanks for the picture of the adjusting tool. Pretty impressive made tool, has suitable class. Ah, not quite the terminology I wanted...........the word I was searching for was "elegance".

I have seen more simplistic tools over the years, original and homebrew; anyone can make them that has machines easily. The curve on the pictured on sells me, not overly easy to do nicely for the layman. Perhaps a tracing device would be helpful for that complex curve.

T addition gives easy torque application.

elegant, that Mauser tool is; worthy in my opinion of a limited number item.
