1906 Commercial

6 Attachment(s)
I recently acquired this rather tidy 1906 thanks to a good friend. I was unable to attend the auction where it came up so he was sent with a list of points to look at and I think he did a good job of assessing whether to bid.
Early commercials are hard to find in this part of the world and this one has all matching numbers where they should be and the bore is bright and sharp. The grips have a few minor dings and are fairly dirty, I'm undecided what to do there yet. The gun was described as 7.65mm and when it arrived turns out to be 9mm!
The references I have put serial no. 67773 as made just before the 1st World War, does that seem right?

The New Model Parabellum, as you have here, disappears from production in 1913, around sn 69060.

Dwight,
Are there any more details you need for inclusion in your database ?

Dwight,
The receiver and barrel have the Crown/N proof. In the "lazy" style on the receiver.

Thank you for your efforts producing and updating the Commercial Database. Such a valuable resource, I refer to it often.
