Here are a few more, all different in some way!
1914 DWM and Erfurt, 1915-18 DWM, and a 1920/1917 DWM with Navy unit marking.
The three main sight variations are also shown; fine tune front and rear, fine tune rear only, and "fixed" sights- the rear only adjustable for elevation.

Perfect!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The only missing variation that I note, is the true 20 commerical LPO8 with the rear sight elevator release button on the RIGHT side. TH

Tom,
I'm missing one other sight variation, a 1918 with adjustable front sight and fixed rear. There have been three variants reported on 1918 L P08s, the most common is both fixed (non fine tune); a few have fixed rear FT front, and one or three have been reported with fixed front and fine tune rear.

That one is on my list to find.

1920 Commercial Artillery:
I do have one, serial 8153 k ; I believe it is a "true" 1920, but it has the button on the left. I would have thought DWM would have continued to use the "left over" WWI barrel and sight parts. 8153j is caliber is 9mm, matching numbered in commercial style.

Why would DWM have gone to the trouble to move the latch button from left to right? Would require moving the teeth to the other side also.

I found a picture of one of the right hand sight button variety in Mauro's book, it is a Stoger branded commercial, in 7,65mm caliber; I guess that is yet another variant to look for!
