Breaking Bad: The Customized Luger !
It must sound like a sacrilege to most of you , but some lost souls here on this planet do actually customize their Lugers.
I am curious to see what you have done to your Luger to end up in Luger hell! I am guilty of being a bad boy, have a GT barrel on it but I am just starting ! This all numbers matching (except the mag of course) Mauser Luger is my victim. Give me some time. I have ideas.....:roflmao: https://scontent-iad3-1.xx.fbcdn.net...e4&oe=5C390CF5 |
Very nice arrangement. I have one with the same GT barrel, navy rear sight and VOPO grips. I have a pair very nice walnut grips but have become partial to the VOPO grips.
I enjoy shooting my bull barrel Luger, it is a real nail driver. |

I have "customized" several of my shooter luger pistols, not harming any collecitbles in the process- and neither did you.
I have the same GT bull barrel, now in three lengths. 3.25" on my "baby, I recently changed the 5" to a 4" bull on another full size shooter. I've put a 9mm heavy barrel profile with 1900 toggle on my 1906 shooter. And a 6" 7,65mm bbl on a commercial that came to me without a barrel- but otherwise a matching pistol- still have not figured that one out! On yours, I'd add an adjustable rear sight; and not much else I can think of, unless you want a 16" barrel and a stock.:) (for those wondering what the heck is the black stuff on the 1906, it is a couple layers of "fuzzy" velcro to thicken the grip safety, my hand doesn't always press the safety fully in without a little extra thickness.:)) |
another extremely lost soul here says thanks for the picture. Customized Lugers have been around just as long as oem's.
I mostly shoot conventional Lugers but am looking forward to further pictures and concepts of customized arms.........:) |
