Two 1906 commercials American Eagles
This is my set. One is a 9 and the other a 30 cal. http://forums.lugerforum.com/lfupload/duoeagles.jpg

Nice pair! Is the one on top the .30? I personally like the longer barrel for looks. The .30's are nice to shoot even if ammo is a bit of a problem.
Have you sent any proof to Dwight? He is collecting that info on American Eagles. Steve |
Thanks Steve, Yes the one on top is a 30cal. I don,t shoot these pistols . I guess I,m afraid of breakage and won,t find a part. I have a 1920 commercial that has been reblued that I shoot. Its 30cal also. It is very accurate and I like to see the flame come out of the barrel. That 30cal shell was really hot. I have around 6 or seven boxes of Winchester ammo, so thats no problem.

Danny,
Would you please look at this post ? http://forums.lugerforum.com/lugerfo...c;f=1;t=000202 I would like to know if this mark could possibly appear on your 1906 AE"s as it is on mine. As yet I can find no one thaat has seeen a mark of this type, and I am trying to identify it. Please answere with a post here in your thread. Thanks ViggoG |
Viggo, I looked at all my 1906's and did not see the symbol in your photo. The only thing that was close looked like a key. Will post a pic of it if you like?

Doug G,
I Like !!, I Like !!, Please Do ! I think that many of these unusual Marks are going un-noticed and will be "Forever Lost" if we here on the forum do not act to gather and research the origins of such. Is there Anyone with Ideas on how to breath life into such a project???? ViggoG |
