By the way, do you consider the Mauser brothers that worked in Liege from 1867 until 1869, a sort of "Ad Honorem" Liege gun-makers?
You know during my researches on Paul Mauser, I was able to find the location of the house Paul and Wilhelm used when in Liege. Another interesting info is that the nephew of Paul, Alfons worked for a while in Liege too, better in Herstal at FN...
So long relationship between Paul Mauser and Liege without considering the Belgian Mauser rifle Mod. 89 that it is an intriguing story too...

Sorry, but in these publications (5 books), only the Belgian gun makers are treated. They are intended mainly for those collectors that own some of the myriads of belgian firearms produced during the 18th, 19th, and early 20th century

Yes, I can imagine. I was just wondering that Liege hosted two of the most famous worldwide gun maker for three years, Paul and Wilhelm Mauser, but of course I fully understand that they are not really from Liege...
Anyhow, great effort indeed.
