..new arrival..
.
pristine P06 (1912-1914), 7.65 DWM was on consignment with Legacy, who adverted it as : "This is about as nice as you'll ever find. We have a mint condition 1906 DWM Commercial Luger pistol with an original corduroy holster - Overall we rate this gun truly at 99% condition! The straw parts have some minor thinning, but this is almost helpful wear to convince us that this is truly all original. The bore is beautiful as well as the grips. The magazine is correct and minty as well. Guaranteed all original and in stunning collectible condition" of course I won't shoot it (as tempting as it is..) - will be getting a P08 1935 Nazi, refinished and all correct numbers from LugarMan in 9mm that'll be my "shooter" I'm pleased as punch https://i.imgur.com/zYtRvwE.jpg https://i.imgur.com/ZypeSIA.jpg https://i.imgur.com/Ytfj7h6.jpg |

You could have done worse..........:)
I would think you are pleased as punch.........I would be too. That pistol type is in my opinion the ultimate Luger, guess the barrel taper gets me every time............and.......... it is a 30......fast little devil that it is. I finally acquired one like you pictured, but not as pristine. It functions like it should and shoots right to the point of aim with my handloads. A real delight, wonder why I waited so long to acquire one. I have had most barrel types, lengths; either factory or me making them; but the 4 3/4........is tops in my book. |
In my opinion, the 06 is a very classy looking luger. Thanks for sharing it with us. Does it fit in the holster well with the .30 thin 4 3/4" barrel? John

You could go a lifetime and not find a better one...well done. Congratulations.

it, the magazine and the holster being kept apart from one another in a foam lined hard case at present the pistol thanks you for the kind comments (as do I) |
When you get a chance, how about some detail photos of the holster. To fit a 4 3/4" barrel, this holster my also be very unusual. They almost fit good in a 4" holster. For the heck of it, take out the mag, look in the bottom rear of the mag well and look for a "P" or "Pvt" stamp. Long shot, but curious. John
