See the future - today!

It's possible to experience the future of Luger prices today, just by taking a look at the prices of Lugers and other Swiss firearms listed by this new C&R dealer (a new division of KRISS arms):

Are those pistols old from Swiss inventory or newly produced?

I certainly don't know their source. Most likely imported (and marked) after being privatized and sold by the officer involved.

Many of these are still being imported from Swiss sources.

Production of Lugers stopped in 1948. The SIG P210 pistols were followed some time ago by P220 pistols.

All the ones that they are offering are C&R, so older than 1968.

But for details ask them.

I was pointing out the time traveler impact of their pricing.

Wow, it brings to mind the term, "future sticker shock."!

They don't mention it, and there are no close up photos, but all the Lugers seem to have something engraved on the left flat of the receiver. My bet is that it is a very noticeable import mark. <gag>

The marking on the left flat is GERMANY. A rather ugly place to put country of origin. There is something else on the LP08 but I can't read it. To make matters worse, on the bottom of the barrel they mislabeled the 1906 Waffenfabrik Bern as "06/24 7.65" and the 1906 DWM Swiss as "1906 Luger 7.65". These folks feel that they are complying to the letter with import laws, but they have gone about it in a rather ham-handed way and really messed up some very nice guns.

I feel a little sorry for them (the guns not the store). I imagine those prices are going to come down real fast. or they are going out of business real soon. IMO these people don't have a clue what they are doing.

They have a rare 1917 Artillery manufactured in Switzerland?
