This looks to be made up from mostly original parts. - Geo |

Im in the process of building an M53 clone, I have 80% of the receiver built that I fabricated out of 2.5 x 1.5 tubing. I also purchased an MG3 for a future build. They are beautiful belt feds.

I think that would fit nicely under the Christmas tree. You would get noticed(good or bad) at your local range. |
Me want. I could really makes some noise with that gun.

The only way to play these cheap is to register as a SOT. Then, you can get those pre samples and post samples, way cheaper than fully transferable MGs. Of course, when you sell it, it is also cheaper.
But register as a SOT has its uncomfortable side... BATF could visit you without appointment to check your guns and record. Relatively speaking, those C&R Maxim style water-cool MGs are not super expensive on the market...cost like a high end Luger.. but a Maxim's production cost was much higher than any Luger.. I bet they are not hot due to their size and weight. If that's not a problem, it's more fun than MG42 IMO. Let alone a semi-auto MG42.. |

Actually, you could just show up at our Memorial day machine gun shoot with a bunch of ammo. Way cheaper than buying your own. That photo is roughly half the firing line. And you won't have to settle for a semi-auto. Our stuff is the real thing.
