gent posted a 1938 luger on the local backpage Saturday night for $800. all visible numbers matched, 2 non matching mags, regular pics looked like it wasn't buffed, nice sharp edges. I emailed hm at 1030 pm and got a reply that he would be at his business at 1100 Sunday. well I'm scheduled for a colonoscopy Monday 7am so my prep day is Sunday.
I'm nervous about the procedure, never had one etc so I'm not feeling 100% and ready distracted all morning. plan was to be at the business at 1045 and just buy the gun but got side tracked and wasn't even all that excited about anything. So 1135 rolls around and decided to just go ahead and call. of course someone just walked in and bought the darn thing.
hopefully somebody got themselves a good deal.
on a positive note, helping my friend sunday morning, he had a modelgun CORP non firing 1921 tommygun replica he gave me with the drum.
and the best part, after getting all the suprep drank andflushed my system the colonoscopy came out perfect! jim
