Luger Armorer Grips
Hello Guys,
Did any Mauser armorer replacement grips exist during the war that were marked as such? What were the markings? Anyone have pics? Thank you, Mitch |
Yes.
They would be "plain" inside, except for an acceptance/mfg marking. I have seen : S/42 42 WaA 136, 655, maybe 63 Could also have another letter or two. I have some on pistols, but I don't recall which ones! |
Hi Don,
Thanks. The ones I saw had E/655 on each panel, and one had a backwards "E", or maybe upside down. the other had an "X". All stamps were die struck, neat and clean. Sound correct? Thanks, Mitch |
Yes,
the letters are workers marks or some such. |
Don, thank you sir!
