Eoropean members help
Hi all . Planning on touring Europe on motorbike ( bmw of course ) , can European members suggest places to
Purchase Luger items / parts as here in Victorian Draconian uk it is a wasteland for any /all Such activity , any suggestions appreciated , pm me please |
Avoid France!
Old guns and parts are at least 3 times the prices we see in Denmark (and they are high enough here). Switzerland would be good. They stopped issuing the Parabellum in 1946 but kept full inventory for 30 years after that so they could keep issued guns running. |
There is a dealer in Poland, Warsaw or Krakow, who has a big stock of parts. He often advertises on Ebay. Wish I had his address when I visited their in the past.

Going to Spanish Pyrenees so a quick detour via Switzerland be ok , here's hoping they have a few goodies then

He is in Warsaw and on GB as 'genuine-militaria_com'. I've tried to negotiate for discounts on groups of parts and he is firm, but prices aren't bad. With bringing them back, you avoid the shipping cost. As for Krakow, I found the people friendly and mostly post WWII generation. And buying from them is certainly no problem nor is buying and shooting Nazis weapons or collecting Nazi insignia. But of a more curious note, I found it rather odd buying from a dealer in Israel selling repro Nazis rings, although advertised as authentic DAK. The Nazis generation of Germany and Europe is mostly gone, and sadly so many of those that ended their terror are gone too...
