Take down lever

The take down lever on my DWM 1920 commercial will fall out on it's own. Looking inside the hole there is a very small curved part that upon removal seems worn. Is there replacement part? Or, can I tweak it some making the curve more pronounced?
Thanks

You can try bending it a touch if it is not broken. Tom Heller should have replacements, or someone either here, or Ebay.

You really don't have to post the same question on both forums.
See my answer(and others) on your other thread.

You can try bending and reanealing your old spring, but if that fails, I do have new German made one available @$25 postpaid. TH

Major Tom, I bent one slightly and it made all the difference in properly fitting. Try it.

I was not aware that the 2 forums were connected. I was just trying to get the most info possible and did too. Many thanks to all who replied.

They're not connected per se, as they have separate domains and ownership. But you'll find the community is largely made up of the same people on each forum. I typically read both forums but find myself posting almost exclusively on this one for whatever reason. I think it's mainly because I posted here first lol.

Hi, they are both active, with much overlap and some members only at one or the other.

There is a milled away section in the middle of the spring which might look like wear. It is normal.

Major Tom 05-25-2017 07:00 AM

BTW, I bought the spring off Ebay. Now the lever does not fall out.
