Help ID this mag

Greetings,
I young man approached my table at the Tulsa show and handed me an artillery Luger. I asked him what did he want to do with it. He said he wanted to sell it. After a few minutes of negotiating I purchased the Luger. My question for the forum is the mag. At first I thought it was a Swiss mag. But no Swiss cross or any other markings. Any comments or other information will be much appreciated.

To me it looks like a Swiss commercial made by the Swiss rather than by DWM. They typically have that bit of a ridge on the base where the round knobs join the middle section rather than a smooth transition. Evidently the base was a little loose so someone put a pin in the front to secure it.

Hi Ron,
Many thanks for your reply. I or should I say "we" value your input very highly. Since I have the mag in hand, I would like to say that the circle on top, although looks like a pin, appears to be a circle stamp much like that of a Portuguese less the inner diamond.

Good question. I had assumed that it was figured grain wood but do not know for sure.

The Swiss Bern mags also had this ridge. This base to me looks like some repros that were on the market a few years ago. Bill

Thanks for the interest and information. It is MOST certainly plastic or some sort of composite material. Certainly not wood.
