I recently came across this one.
Probably a native Austrian or German resident performing under the name of 'Texas Patty'. The postcard is signed by him. Interesting memento of the 1920s. |
The card reads
'Zur Erinnerung an Schützenfest 1922 Auerbach' Roughly translated as 'In remembrance of the shooting celebration 1922 Auerbach' |

I have this one in my file. A bandit ("cangaceiro") from Brazil outback - a true outlaw, pictured around 1927

Texas Patty has one flamboyant ammo bag.
Cool old picture. Thanks for sharing. |
The caption states that "Texas Patty" is German/Mexican?

If you have ever watched "Das Boot". The first watch officer (the only obvious Nazi on board) was a Mexican German. |

Esse dai parece mais saido da "Tocaia Grande" ou de "S. Jorge de Ilheus" de Jorge Amado do que do Cangaco. Peco desculpa mas o meu teclado Anglo saxonico nao tem acentos, cedilhas ou til. Nota: This was supposed to be a private message, but apparently you either chose not to receive or are blocked out. |
