My "set" of artillery lugers by date, from the left:
1914 Erfurt,
the rest are DWM- 1914, '15, '16, '17, '18, and 1920 property stamped 1917.

very nice - is it a real DWM 1914? They are very expensive :)

and many uh, fakes

I had a friend want me to sell a 1914 for him, after conferring with a book or two and several experts, we decided it was likely a 1917 or so that had been 'modified'...

Don, that's quite an achievement! Micro adjust sights on almost all of them too!

My one and only is a 1917 without micro adjust sights.

I just acquired a nice unit marked 1921 dated DWM in the "a" block, but alas, it's not an artillery Luger.

Yes, but the barrel is mismatched.
See the post I did on it. Here or the other forum, I don't recall which.;)

Great lineup!

I had asked a question about the 1921 chamber stampings -

And I'm curious now if any recorded LP-08's have the 1921 stamp???

None that I've heard of or seen.

1921 is a chamber date on some DWM lugers made in 1921.

Marc,
1918 dated Art'ys did not have adjustable rear sights; a very few had the fine tune front. I'm looking for one of those.

I did a post on the four sight combinations found in 1917 a while back. There are both fine tune-the most common; front fixed with fine tune rear-next most found; then both fixed; and rear fixed with front fine tune is the scarcest, with very few reported.

I have one of each shown in the thread.
