Identification and Price Check on Private Collection Items
I have received more loose items from a collector that is liquidating their collection due to age. These items come to me by his seller, which is a close friend. Since he has multiple Luger Items, I figured I would come to the experts. These items are for sale, but with my limited Luger knowledge, I am trusting you guys for fair pricing and my hope are to sell them in the low end of the range if there is any interest.
The first is a set of wood grips. They came wrapped in paper that disintegrated when opened. They look uninstalled. No number or markings that I see other than a X. https://scontent-dfw1-1.xx.fbcdn.net...71&oe=57D29707 https://scontent-dfw1-1.xx.fbcdn.net...70&oe=580E742E https://scontent-dfw1-1.xx.fbcdn.net...55&oe=5803CF8F https://scontent-dfw1-1.xx.fbcdn.net...7b&oe=57C2B956 Next is a pair of transparent grips. I believe the two-piece design accommodates pictures. https://scontent-dfw1-1.xx.fbcdn.net...09&oe=57D8D924 Prost! |
the wood grips look like repro's to me (the hole on the rear is usually what you see on a repro) - nice older repros but I doubt you'd get $50 each pair
The plexiglass grips, if WW2 era, but it depends on what they are made of, seem very clear to me - plexiglass is many times less clear - I think I have gotten $40-$50 a pair for these type too Ed |
The wood grips with the hole in the back are Italian repros and are very high quality...every bit as good as Nill grips. I have seen them go anywhere from $85 to $125. The grips shown are in really nice NOS condition.

I don't know much about plexiglas grips, while about those wood grips I think I would agree with Ron, I've got a pair of those wood grips, although they are really very very well made are not original.

These don't have the safety area cut properly, like the Nil grips do. Sieger |
True. +1 for Nill
